Attarintiki Daredi Review: StarPerformances
Powerstar Pawan Kalyan reached to a state that anything he does is style and anything he sets is trend... Rajanikanth was the only person to achieve this feet before. In all movies so far... Pawan Kalyan did Action, Comedy, His trade mark witty dialogue delivery, Stylish Romance and Innocent Story Telling, Folk Dance. You get to see Pawan doing all of his best together in this film. He did very well in his character. He excelled a lot in the sentimental scenes. Pawan Kalyan repeated feminine scenes, which was not so apprehensive.
Lead actresses selection could have been better. Pranitha Subash needs to work on her dumb expressions... She never appeared as Heroine next to Pawan. Samantha Ruth Prabu is alright in her performance. She has very limited character to play in this film. Nadia stands out with first class performance in the title lead. M.S. Narayana, Ali & Bramhanandam succeeds in providing laughs. Boman Irani is okay in his character, but director failed to elevate his performance with nice character arc. Kota Srinivasa Rao has very less role to play in his unfinished character. Rest of the characters provide necessary support to the main leads.

Attarintiki Daredi Review: Direction, Music & Technical Aspects
The story is not unusual or fresh, but the script certainly is. Trivikram has shown that with a fine story and a dependable script, a competent film can be made with a Powerful actor. In a way his screenplay is the real winner in the first half, but you will start finding it dragged post interval. The second half of the film is not dealt well, but has few comedy blocks in the middle. The flashback episode is pretty casual. The last fifteen minutes of the film is good during which the sentimental scenes come in. Trivikram tried to elevate “Boothu thappu ani chepthoo chupinche vadini kottali” with Ahalya Aammayakuralu skit scene, but he took major time to establish the scene, Later added Katama Rayuda song without any sense of situation. Trivikram even failed to conclude Siddappa’s character in the end.
Trivikram shows his art as a writer with the dialogues touching both the extremes, the witty Pawan mark to the heart stirring variety. He has also been greatly assisted by the superb camera by Prasad Murella to capture his trademark closeup shots... However Prasad disappoints to canvas the DSP's kewl music. Editor could have used his scissors further more in second half. Music composition of Devi Sri Prasad is alright, By-The-Way: This may be one of the best Re-Recording [Back Ground Score] by DSP. Fights are choreographed well, It is just the introduction fight is way above common audien understandability. Production Values from Sri Venkateshwara Cine Chitra are grand.

Attarintiki Daredi Review: Analysis
Whether you feel the leak will end up hurting the success Atharintiki Daredi in the long run. Leak will effect, only if those who have downloaded the film end up seeing it in mobiles & DVD and stay waiting for its second half print. As a high budgeted film releasing after a gap of two months movie has large seethe in Tollywood, people will obviously come forward to check out Pawan Kalyan - Trivikram, who has given super hit Jalsa in their earlier attempt. The leak and the associated far-flung press coverage serving as a useful promotional tool for Pawan Kalyan’s Atharintiki Daredi.
Trivikram etched a perfect - the perfect role & charecterization for Power Star Pawan Kalyan [PSPK]. The whole movie is certainly a feast for all Pawan fans. Attarintiki Daredi is a pure family entertainer with all the heroic elements injected without confusing audience. Oh - Yeah, There is a bit of dragging to balance out the family entertainer with all heroic elements. But Youth & Families both would like this movie by-en-large. The movie could have been further crisp in the second half and further story line to tell during the second half. Also, Hoped the songs to get picturized better and action episodes were trimmer and Comedy would have been further smooth rather appearing as injected forcibly. But overall... We should appreciate Producer BVSN Prasad, Hero Pawan Kalyan & Director Trivikram for thier attemp of a CLEAN FAMILY ENTERTAINER with a star like Pawan Kalyan, trust me it pays off. Had Trivikram taken further care about few aspects the movie would have beaten Gabbar Singh.
Those who’ve seen its first half and have become even more curious about the final product, will be happy with the project. On the whole Atharintiki Daredi a well-made film which is sure to go well with Pawan Kalyan fans and family audience. Go for it. It’s a clean family entertainer.

Director : Daya K

Producer : Neelima Tirumalasetti

Music Director : Shravan

Neelima Thirumalasetty, who produced the film ‘Panjaa’ , is now producing some
small budget films with fresh talent. The first film to come out from this
initiative is ‘Alias Janaki’. The movie has been directed by Daya. Venkat
Rahul, who is related to Megastar Chiranjeevi’, is the hero of the film and
Anisha Ambrose is the heroine. The movie has released today, so let us see how
it is.
Story :
Janaki Ram (Venkat Rahul) is an honest and socially
responsible person. He works in
the Town Planning division of the GHMC and quickly makes a mark as an honest and fearless
government servant. He takes the ideals taught by his father (Naga Babu) very
seriously and lives by them.
This honest attitude causes a lot of issues for Janaki Ram. He
also crosses the path of a notorious local Don named Mysa (Sathru), who is hell
bent on occupying a piece of
primegovernment
land illegally. Janaki
Ram’s superior officer (Tanikella Bharani) tries to reason with him and advises
him to tone down his righteousness, but he is unsuccessful.
An enraged Mysa decides to strike back. The people around Janaki Ram start to suffer
and this struggle creates a rift between Janaki and his girlfriend Chaitra
(Anisha Ambrose).
Will Janaki Ram compromise in order to save himself? Or will he
fight back? That forms the story of Alias Janaki.
Plus Points :
Anisha Ambrose looks good and she has given a decent
performance, within the limitations of her character. Sathru has given a nice
performance in the role of Mysa. Tanikella Bharani and Naga Babu are classy, as
usual. Sri Ramya is ok.
The film gains some momentum just before the intermission. There
is good emotion in these sequences. The basic storyline of the film is quite
good. The hit song ‘Kadhal Prema’ has been shot well.
Minus Points :
Venkat Rahul looks quite odd in this movie. He has just one single expression throughout this film and he must
learn to emote, if he wants to move ahead as an actor. He also needs to work on
his appearance and style.
The film has a good plot, but the team botched up the execution.
Poor screenplay is one of the biggest issues this movie has. There is no
logical flow in the proceedings. Despite a very short runtime of a 105 minutes,
the viewing experience can get a little tedious at times.
The romantic track between Janaki Ram and Chaitra is not up to
the mark. There is absolutely zero chemistry between the lead actors.
The hero also breaks into tears at the drop of a hat. Without
proper emotional justification, such scenes just do not work. Tanikella
Bharani’s abrupt change of heart defies logic.
Technical Aspects :
Cinematography is pretty decent for a film of this budget.
However some images look quite grainy, especially in low light sequences.
Editing is quite poor. Viewers will get confused between flashback episodes and
current scenes. Music is a big asset for the film, but re-recording could have
been better.
Direction is not up to the mark. But should the director be
blamed completely if the artistes can’t act? Production values are ok for a
film of this budget.
Verdict :
Alias Janaki is a film that could easily have been so much
better. A better hero and smarter screenplay would have helped. Neelima
Thirumalasetty’s intentions are worth applauding, but she needs to take better
care about the execution of her future projects.

Director : Devi Prasad C

Producer : Boppana Chandrasekhar

Music Director : Bheems, Chinni Charan

Starring : Allari Naresh, Sharmila Mandre
|
Story :Comedy King Allari Naresh has teamed up with Sharmila Mandre and
director Devi Prasad for the comedy film ‘Kevvu Keka’. Boppana Chandrasekhar is the producer. The movie
hasreleased today, so let us see of if it is going to
entertain as promised.
Buchi Raju (Allari Naresh) is a salesman in Kalanikethan Mall.
He lives with his uncle Abrakadabra Appa Rao (Krishna Bhagawan), who is a
magician. Buchi Raju happens to come across Maha Lakshmi (Sharmila Mandre) one fine day and falls in love with her. Maha Lakshmi also
responds to Buchi Babu and they fall in love.
Maha Lakshmi’s father Subba Rao (M.S.Narayana) does not approve
of this alliance as Buchi Raju is not a rich guy. To win Maha Lakshmi’s hand,
Buchi Raju promises to earn a lot of money within 6 months and leaves.
Through his uncle Appa Rao, he comes to know about a Bangkok
businessman named Gottam Gopalakrishna (Ashish Vidyardhi) and a fortune that is
waiting for him. Armed with this information, Buchi Raju decides to go to
Bangkok to seek his money.
What happens next? Will Buchi Raju succeed in his efforts? That
forms the story of this film.
Plus Points :
Allari Naresh was his usual self in this film. He succeeded in entertaining viewers to
a certain extent with his comedy timing and mannerisms. He also looked quite
stylish in this film. Sharmila Mandre
has done a good job. Ashish Vidyardhi is very effective in a full length
comedy.
Krishna Bhagawan, Ali and Dhan Raj entertain parts. The first
half of the movie has some good moments. The shopping mall episode, party episode and the song medleys
have come out well. Entertainment quotient in the first half is decent.
Minus Points :
The film’s second half is a big letdown. Comedy quotient drops
alarmingly here and the film seems to drag on and on.
The director has concentrated more on coming up with a confusion
drama in the second half and this has not worked well. A senior and talented
comedian like M.S.Narayana has been wasted in this film.
The romantic track between Naresh and Sharmila Mandre should
have been better. It is quite superficial. Songs act as speed breakers for this movie and do not help the
proceedings at all.
The climax block is dragged out.
The climax block is dragged out.
Technical Aspects :
Cinematography is ok. The editor should have trimmed off a number of scenes in
the second half. Background score is just about ok.
Devi Prasad has handled the direction, screenplay and story
departments. He has not done justice to any of them. He loses control of the film in the second half.
Verdict :
Kevvu Keka has a decent first half but the film goes downhill in the second half. Allari Naresh has tried his
best, but that is not enough to save this film.

KALYANRAM’S OM MOVIE REVIEW
After a long gap, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is testing his fortunes
at the Box Office with the film ‘OM’. The movie has been produced with a
big budget and it has been shot in 3D format. Nikeesha Patel and Kriti
Kharbandha are the heroines in the movie. Sunil Reddy is
the director. The film has released today, so let us see how it is.
Story
:
Arjun (Kalyan Ram) loves his dad Harischandra Prasad (Karthik)
and is a devoted son.
Father and son share a great bond. The family has some enemies and
chief among them is Byrreddy (Rao Ramesh). Byrreddy tries his best to
assassinate Harischandra Prasad but he is thwarted every time by Arjun.
Into this scenario comes in Anjali (Kriti Kharbandha). Arjun
falls for her charm and good nature. As expected, love blossoms between the
two. But the story needs a twist now and in comes Rhea (Nikisha Patel). Rhea is
the daughter of Harischandra Prasad’s friend (Ahuthi Prasad).
Meanwhile, Byrreddy decides to seek the help of Sampath Raj, who
is also a sworn enemy of Harischandra Prasad. A battle for revenge begins and
Arjun discovers some shocking truths that shake the very foundations of his life.
What are those truths? Will he succeed in protecting his
father’s life? That forms the
story of OM 3D
Plus
Points :
Kalyan Ram looks decent in a few action sequences. Kriti
Kharbandha looks quite beautiful in the film. Nikeesha Patel brings in the
required glamour touch.
Veteran actor Karthik has delivered a classy performance and he will be a good fit for
character roles in Telugu Films. Suresh has done a good job. Some 3D effects
are decent. Rao Ramesh entertains to a certain extent with his Srikakulam
slang.
The short run time is an asset for this movie. The climax twist
and interval twists are neat.
Minus
Points :
When a film does not have good story or screenplay, no amount of
technical expertise can save it. ‘OM’ is a movie which does not require 3D at
all. Except for a few 3D shots, most of them fail to make an impression.
VFX is very poor. One scene which sorely stands out
is that trailer explosion scene on the bridge. The VFX quality of that scene is
very poor.
There are way too many fights in this movie. The story does not
have a logical flow and there are some unexplained gaps in the plot.
Viewers will find it
tough to connect to the story emotionally. Entertainment quotient is also very
low.
Technical
Aspects :
Ajayan Vincent’s cinematography is just mediocre. Editing is
very jerky and does not help matters at all. Background score is quite mediocre
and does not help matters much.
Sunil Reddy’s direction leaves a lot to be desired. He should
have taken better care about the screenplay. Production values are decent.
Verdict
:
‘OM’ is just another loud and clichéd action drama with a very
routine plot. The 3D effects do not add much value for the movie. Some good performances and one or two nice moments are just
about the only things that work in this film.
